The Sluice System 10cm
Our wash-out system is used to extract the gold from concentrate but also from other material (e.g., pre-sieved stream material). For this purpose, we use a Sluice system, which can be filled with various rubbers and can be extended as required. The goal is either to obtain completely pure gold or a high gold concentration with a low percentage of foreign matter. The system is composed of modular components, which can be combined with each other at will. The main components are:
- Headboard of the sluice body with hopper, tail adapter and water flap, the "heart" of the system
- Sluice Body, removable, can be extended with adapters as desired
- Feeder (= material storage) for evenly supplying the system with material, a key point for washing out.
- Jet Pump for the transport of material e.g. When feeding the washing trough. Allows a very even and very finely adjustable feeding of material onto the wash-out channel. Recommended for grain sizes up to 2mm.
- Adapter for connecting components in any order and number
- Rack for sluice system, height-adjustable with preparation for feeder.
- Funnel for sluice body or headboard for use on a brook
- Sedimentator for separating water and sand in a continuous process
The aim of the system is to create a fully automatic wash-out system with automatic material flow, which does not require any intervention. It must be filled only once with the pre-sieved concentrate and returns the extracted gold on the sluice body as well as the debris remaining in the sedimentator. Depending on the setting, you can prioritize the purity of the poured material in the gutter or the catch rate and thus the remaining amount of gold in the remaining material (of course, zero residual quantity)! However, the system is very flexible and can be used for the following applications:
- ... as a fully automated machine for concentrating (also at the campsite)
- ... as a fine rinsing trough with pump for home
- ... as a mini-hopper with / without electropump and with / without funnel
- ... as backpack channel with freely definable inner life
- ... as mini-dredges for extracting columns and crevices
- ... as a cleanup sluice for the final washout of Concentrate at the Brook
- ... as an ultralange fine-rinsing trough (can be lengthened indefinitely)
